Technotronic, Get Up

It was in my head yesterday because it's occasionally played during my Body Pump class. It works really well for the chest track. And just now some band on the radio requested it, so it was playing on TripleJ. Ha!

Ah, a little bit of awesome 90s techno nostalgia. :) Enjoy.

I used to love this song. It's so catchy and cheerful. In fact, I *still* love it. As you know, I'm a sucker for a good do-do-do, and this song has them in abundance. :D

For a bit of 1990s indie nostalgia, TripleJ played this 10-year-old track this morning. It made me happy to wake up to it. :)

Youtube have a version of it here, with bad sound. The cool bit of this clip is that it features Dylan Lewis. Ahhh, Recovery. I used to love that show!

Speaking of 90s cool stuff, I have a bunch of old mixtapes (yes, actual cassettes) of songs I taped from the radio. They range from about 1995-2002, I think. There's some great stuff on them. One day when I have more time I want to re-make digital versions of them, either my copying them, or more likely hunting down the mp3s.
